The Liberty Elementary School District and Buckeye Union High School District are proud to share exciting news: all three schools located in Estrella have earned an “A” grade from the Arizona Department of Education for the 2024-2025 academic year.
These letter grades, released by the Office of Accountability, reflect a comprehensive evaluation of student achievement, academic growth, attendance, and other key performance indicators. The results affirm what our community already knows – that Estrella schools are delivering exceptional educational experiences.
The grades:
- Westar Elementary School and Estrella Mountain Elementary School, both part of the Liberty Elementary School District, achieved “A” grades, a testament to their continued commitment to academic excellence and student success.
- Estrella Foothills High School, part of the Buckeye Union High School District, earned an “A” rating for the third consecutive year. This consistent performance underscores the school’s dedication to preparing students for college, careers, and life beyond the classroom.
While the Liberty Elementary School District maintained an overall “B” grade, the district remains steadfast in its mission to elevate every student. Ongoing initiatives are focused on enhancing learning environments, supporting educators, and addressing the diverse needs of students to ensure continued growth and achievement.
The Buckeye Union High School District, meanwhile, celebrates the fact that every BUHSD school received an “A” rating this year. That represents a remarkable accomplishment that speaks volumes about the district’s leadership, educators, students, and families.
