MARK YOUR PLANNER, BRING YOUR FRIENDS: THE ESTRELLA CUP RETURNS DECEMBER 6

The Estrella Cup mountain bike race is back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and dustier than ever. On Saturday, December 6, Goodyear’s popular trail racing event returns to the Estrella Mountains, inviting riders of all ages and skill levels to test their mettle against gravity, grit, and some of the most scenic singletrack in the Southwest.

The first race begins at 7 a.m.; the event address is 17567 W. Elliott Road, Goodyear, Arizona.

Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a first-time trail explorer, the Estrella Cup is your chance to ride, race, and revel in a community that lives and breathes mountain biking.

With race distances ranging from 10 to 47 miles, there’s a challenge for every rider. Categories include:

  • Single-speed
  • E-bike
  • 12 & under
  • Short and Endurance Courses

Each route is a curated experience through the Estrella Mountains’ signature terrain: technical climbs, sweeping vistas, and fast, flowy descents that feel like they were built for speed and soul.

The Estrella Cup courses wind through a one-of-a-kind trail system, built and maintained by local mountain bikers who know every twist, turn, and drop. These trails are more than dirt and rock. They’re a masterclass in flow, strategy, and community craftsmanship.

Riders come for the challenge, but they stay for the camaraderie, the shared stories, and the post-race pride. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or grinding up the final climb, you’ll feel the pulse of a community that rallies around every rider.

Nestled within more than 60 miles of trails and connected to even more in Estrella Mountain Regional Park, our community is a haven for mountain bikers. It’s a place where technical climbs lead to panoramic views, and every descent feels like a rollercoaster built by nature.

Some call it a trail system. We call it Disneyland for mountain bikers.
