The Phoenix metropolitan area is a baseball fan’s paradise, with 10 stadiums hosting 15 Major League Baseball teams, providing plenty of opportunities to catch a Spring Training game right here in Arizona. The 10 state-of-the-art stadiums are all within easy driving distance of Estrella, making the bases fully loaded for fun this spring.
Pitchers and catchers will begin reporting to camps in Arizona and Florida in mid-February, then exhibition games will begin about two weeks later. Opening Day 2024 is scheduled for March 28, but Spring Training Opening Day starts February 24 at our Goodyear Ballpark with the Reds facing off against the Guardians at 1:05 p.m.

Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians – Goodyear Ballpark in Goodyear (7 minutes from Estrella)
Two of the most storied names in baseball, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Guardians call Goodyear Ballpark home. But history gets a modern twist with a brand-new video board, featuring cutting-edge graphics, animated between-inning promotions and a crisp display, featuring fan footage. With tickets starting at just $12, a seat on the grassy berm is the perfect spot to take in the game and build memories with family and friends. But you can always catch an amazing view of the action in the park’s seating bowl or bring a large group for a fun night on the party patio! Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers – Camelback Ranch in Phoenix (25 minutes from Estrella)
Just minutes away from the great shopping and dining in Glendale’s Sports and Entertainment District, this beautiful park hosts both the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox. The stadium is one of the largest in the Cactus League at 13,000. If you can tear your eyes away from the on-field action, you will notice some of the park’s beautiful architecture including natural stone veneers, rusty metal panes and stadium colors that reflect Arizona’s landscape.

Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers – Surprise Stadium in Surprise (30 minutes from Estrella)
Ranked by USA Today as Arizona’s best spring training stadium, this park offers one of the most serene views in the Valley. Free parking, great food and cheap tickets are just some of the amenities at the home of the Royals and Rangers. For those who live in the area, make sure to check out the countless events that Surprise Stadium hosts throughout the entire year, including college and amateur baseball tournaments.

Milwaukee Brewers – American Family Fields of Phoenix in Phoenix (30 minutes from Estrella)
Milwaukee’s award-winning park near the west side of Phoenix offers a state-of-the-art facility with easy access and lots of parking. The park offers several great group spaces including the Poba Party Patio, Mortensen Courtyard and two suites. The stadium was recently renovated to make more room for fans and improve the Brewers practice facilities, which now include new batting tunnels and pitching mounds.

San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners – Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria (35 minutes from Estrella)
This 145-acre complex features one of the best seating bowls in the Cactus League for up-close and personal action. The Pavilion features great food and craft beer, while the Colonnade, at 3,300 square feet, fits 600 shaded seats along with AC, ambient lighting, catering, private restrooms and a full-service bar. Kids will love the Peoria Cove, a splash pad and playground located in the park.

Chicago Cubs – Sloan Park in Mesa (40 minutes from Estrella)
Sloan Park offers fans a beautiful view of one of Arizona’s most popular spring training teams. The 15,000-seat stadium sits on a complex that features 7 practice fields, the largest workout facility in the MLB, six parking lots, a river-view park and so much more. Be sure to check out Riverview Lake and the Paseo Recreation Area before or after the game.

Los Angeles Angels – Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe (45 minutes from Estrella)
Situated just off I-10 in Tempe, the home of the Angels is the oldest and smallest park in the Cactus League. The park is set to undergo major renovations in the next few years, with a new clubhouse, team store and concourse being planned. Fans can still enjoy a great experience this season, with a beautiful view of the Twin Buttes.

San Francisco Giants – Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale (50 minutes from Estrella)
Smack dab in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale lies the home of the San Francisco Giants, as the centerpiece of a historic area. One of the Cactus League’s larger parks, Scottsdale Stadium brings old-school charm to a spring training game, with intimate seating and great in-game activities.

Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies – Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (50 minutes from Estrella)
The hometown D-Backs and Colorado Rockies play their spring training games at Salt River Fields near Scottsdale. The unique layout of the stadium puts fans on top of the action, while the picturesque mountain backdrop provides a beautiful setting for a game.

Oakland Athletics – Hohokam Stadium in Mesa (55 minutes from Estrella)
Home to the largest scoreboard in the Cactus League at 12 by 16 feet, this park features crisp visuals, great in-game promotions, a shaded terrace level, berm seating and rich history to provide a unique experience for fans. The former home of the Cubs and ASU baseball, now, welcomes the Green and Gold.
