Are you ready for fall events and Halloween happenings in the West Valley? Whether you’re looking to rock out, watch a spooky movie in the park, pick the best pumpkin in the patch or honor our local service men and women, all ages are sure to enjoy these activities on our 20 fall favorites list. We’ve also included haunted houses and festivals all over the Valley, so be sure to check the location before you venture out from Estrella in Goodyear and across the west valley. 

Goodyear Events 

1.     Goodyear Rocks
The city of Goodyear presents its 5th Annual Goodyear Rocks in partnership with Alice Cooper Solid Rock. Three emerging bands will take the stage at the Goodyear Recreation Campus playing genres such as punk rock, pop rock and alternative rock. In addition to live music, food trucks will be on site serving up delicious treats, giveaways and a live art demonstration. 
Date: October 7 from 5 – 8 p.m.

2.     Movie in the Park
Bring your family and friends, a warm blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy an evening under the stars and a Movie in the Park at the Goodyear Recreation Campus. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be featured on the big screen.

3.     Fall Festival
You’re sure to have a haunting good time at Fall Festival. There will be a family-friendly harvest or ghostly scares for those who dare and trick-or-treat on the field at Goodyear Ballpark. Dress to impress to take home the trophy for best overall costume, best youth costume, best adult costume, best group or family costume and most creative costume.
Date: October 28, from 5-8 p.m.

4.     Veterans Day Festival
Reflect and honor the military service men and women of the West Valley. Enjoy a concert,
patriotic murals, giveaways, kids’ activities, and food trucks.
Date: November 11, from 5-8 p.m.
Location: Goodyear Civic Square

5.     Tolmachoff Farms
The unforgettable fall memories begin at Tolmachoff Farms on October 4 and last until October 29. There’s something for the whole family: great big pumpkin patch, six-acre family corn maze, mini corn maze and haunted corn maze. Other activities: petting zoo, train ride, hay pyramid, corn box, adult/child pedal cart track, jumping pillow and much more.

6.     Rocker 7 Farm Patch
Rocker 7 Farm Patch educates children and adults through hands-on experience with a real working farm, creating awareness about the benefits of farm fresh produce and provides families with a fun and safe farm environment to learn and experience agriculture firsthand. During the fall, they offer exciting family-oriented activities, u-pick pumpkins from their pick-your-own pumpkin patch and tons of memories for the whole family.

7.     Mortimer Farms
Mortimer Farms Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze is a celebration for all ages, offering a delightful array of activities that promise unforgettable memories. This year, the corn maze is themed around water conservation. Since converting the farm from historical flood irrigation to pivot and drip irrigation, they’ve saved 90% of the water that was previously used. Discover the joy of pumpkin picking in the bountiful pumpkin patch. Indulge in farm-inspired rides, games and activities that promise laughter and excitement.

8.     Ahwatukee Pumpkin Patch
Recognized as the Best Pumpkin Patch in Ahwatukee. Pumpkins are ready for pick up every day from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. through Halloween Night.

9.     Schnepf Farms
The Pumpkin & Chili Party is fun for the whole family from October 5th – 29th (Thursdays – Sundays.) The admission ticket includes all rides and shows for the entire event, including the Schnepf Roller Coster, Swing Ride, Zip lines, Pig Race, Bonfires and more, plus a 4- acre corn maze and 10-acre Celebrity corn maze. Full bakery and country store. Cute farm characters and plenty of great photo opportunities.

10.  Apple Annie’s Orchard
Find the perfect pumpkin at Apple Annies.  Forty acres of pumpkins are planted each summer, and by late September the fields are a spectacular sight. Find pumpkins ranging from the Jack-Be-Littles, which fit in the palm of your hand, to pumpkins that will tip the scale at over 100 pounds.

11.  Marana Pumpkin Patch
So much fun with 50 acres of pumpkins, plus a train, a corn maze and other exciting attractions.

12.  Macaroni Kid Scottsdale Fall Festival
Don’t miss this autumn extravaganza that’s bound to delight kids and families alike. Macaroni Kid Scottsdale presents their annual “Free Fall Festival,” a day of seasonal fun, games, and cherished memories.
Dates: October 21, 2-5 p.m.

13.  McCormick Stillman Halloween Spook-Track-Ula
Railroad is transformed into a haunted park of fun for our Spook-Track-Ula. The family-friendly event is perfect for kids all ages. Events feature a spooky train ride created with younger children in mind—-a bit spooky but not frightening.

14.  Mother Nature’s Farm Pumpkin Patch
The farm entrance fee is $12.00 per person, this includes a pumpkin, the air bounce, a hayride, spider web crawl, feeding the animals and Alexander’s Adventure Maze. Food available, it’s a fun place for a picnic.

15.  Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival

17.  Haunted Corn Maze: AZ Field Of Screams (dare to enter)
Pumpkin patch with a haunted corn maze, open Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween night.
Wander the area as night falls upon the maze. Who knows what lurks out in the corn.

18.  13 Floor Haunted House
Often named Phoenix’s Best Haunted House, this is an intense interactive experience,
so may be too much for ages under 13. Guests enter a maze in complete darkness and have many physical experiences.
