A dozen dedicated businesswomen didn’t let Mother Nature’s powerful winter storm keep them from visiting Estrella in late February where they learned about all the community has to offer current and future residents. Braving rain and strong winds – a rarity in Arizona – the Women’s Council of Realtors® West Valley Chapter toured Casa Lucero, CantaMia, Presidio and model homes throughout the community.
“We liked hearing so much about the community at the beginning of the morning,” said Chapter President Angela Knott. “We’re often in a hurry and just go straight to the models and maybe drive by the amenities. Having the tours through the centers are very helpful and give a better sense of what the community is all about.”
During their time at Casa Lucero, while sipping coffee and enjoying complimentary treats from Café’ Bebida, they listened as Community Ambassador Cindy Oliver explained the history of Estrella, how the community is laid out and where each of the seven builders is located. She then highlighted the crown jewel of Estrella, the plethora of amenities for an affordable $112 monthly HOA.
“The number of things to do within the community surprised us. It’s like a city of its own. The lakes, the planned events, the club options, they’re all really appealing,” continued Knott.
One of Estrella’s most unique features is the all-inclusive 55+ CantaMia neighborhood which Knott said stood out to her and her colleagues. “They’ve thought of everything here. It’s really impressive to see the lifestyle options in master-planned communities but to have something dedicated to this age group is unique and something our clients will want to know about.”
After touring The Village Center at CantaMia and walking through nearly a dozen other model homes throughout the community, the group enjoyed lunch at The Cantina at Presidio, compliments of the developer, where they had a chance to visit with builder representatives. During lunch Oliver answered any additional questions the Realtors had and reiterated the many buyer incentives currently being offered throughout Estrella.
The group ended the event with full stomachs and more information about Estrella than they anticipated according to Knott. “Estrella has more options than any other communities that I have personally toured. I’ve lived in the Valley my whole life and had no idea there was so much out here.”
