PLAIN WHITE T’S HEADLINE GOODYEAR LAKESIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL ON MARCH 21

Everything you need to know to enjoy the FREE outdoor concert.

The Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival comes to Estrella on Saturday, March 21. The City of Goodyear and the community of Estrella have hosted the free outdoor festival since 2015 and it’s become the signature event for the West Valley. Just like last year, visitors can take a free tour of over 50 new homes, starting at 10 a.m., with music starting at 4 p.m.

This family-friendly open-air concert is a community favorite, this year headlined by Plain White T’s, best known for their platinum, Grammy‑nominated hit “Hey There Delilah.” Opening acts feature established and up-and-coming artists, many local.

The festival is a true treat for the senses, held against the backdrop of Estrella’s stunning North Lake and featuring food trucks, a beer garden, and free lawn games.

From 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., eight national, award-winning homebuilders at Estrella will have more than 50 new homes (models and move-in ready homes) to tour. Start the home tour at the Estrella Welcome Center, 8175 Hillside Drive, Goodyear.

Whether you are new to the festival or seasoned attendee, here are a few tips to make the day easy and comfortable.

1. On-site food: More food trucks than ever help assure event attendees will find the flavors they crave with shorter lines.

2. Seating: Lawn seating is first-come, first-served at the sloped, grassed lawn of the amphitheater. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Alcohol, umbrellas, and pets are not allowed.

3. Parking: Primary parking is free and found at 10336 S. Estrella Parkway. Overflow parking with free shuttle service every 20 minutes to the venue is at Estrella Foothills High School, 13033 S. Estrella Parkway.

4. Adult beverages: Enjoy a cold one at the beer garden, sponsored by Saddle Mountain Brewing Company. Outside alcohol is not allowed.

 5. Games: In addition to the great music, the festival will include plenty of free family-friendly activities such as giant lawn games and a kids’ zone.

6. Festival art: Enjoy shopping? The artisan vendor market is for you, with dozens of local artisans showing their wares.

7. FREE: Best of all, the festival is free for all attendees.
