2. Out and About
If you and pops want to satisfy your inner carnivore, head over to Arrowhead Grill. This Glendale steak house is a favorite among locals and travelers alike. Your searing steak will arrive at the table still cooking in a cast iron skillet. And steak is just the beginning, From the Coconut Battered Shrimp to the AG Butter Cake, each mouth-watering menu item has the personal touch of Chef Charles Wade Schwerd, a Valley culinary hot ticket for almost two decades. A 10 oz. original Delmonico Steak starts at $44 and prices go up from there.

3. Take a Hike
Of course, whether you’re enjoying a lazy brunch our mouthwatering steak, you need to work up an appetite. Start your day with a hike along any of the 12 miles in the recently opened Lucero Trail system. Hikes range from easy to expert and the Lucero system joins up with 50+ miles of other trails in the Estrella community.

4. Hit the Links
If dad is thinking of a hike with a bit more greenery, try a round of golf. Tee times at the Golf Club of Estrella are $40. Golf Club of Estrella is a Nicklaus Design golf course and Troon managed facility and offers a truly incredible golfing experience for golfers of all abilities.
Fees range from $29-$48 at Tres Rios Golf Course, just down the hill in Goodyear. The course is under new ownership and undergoing many improvements.

5. Cool Down
Is a day on the water more dad’s style? Check out Scorpion Bay Marina at Lake Pleasant. You can rent a boat or just some water toys for the day, then enjoy a lakeside dinner at the Scorpion Bay Grill.

6. Go Fish!
Is dad an angler? Head to the Estrella Yacht Club with your pole and power bait to get your fish on with dad, or Glendale’s new Heroes Regional Park Lake where the fishing is always easy. Arizona Game and Fish keeps Heroes Regional Park lake stocked year round. All you need for either spot is your fishing pole license and bait. Check local fishing reports to see what they’re biting on as temperatures increase.

7. Father’s Day Toast
Grab a brew and a bite at Goodyear’s own Saddle Mountain Brewery. Featuring locally crated Taildragger beers, it’s a perfect spot to relax, chill and bond with dad. Their menu features lots of tasty treats as well.

8. End it Well
Father’s Day is one of the longest days of the year so why not enjoy a late Arizona sunset from the Estrella Star Tower. With panoramic views of the West Valley, it is the perfect spot to say farewell to a perfect Father’s Day.
